Meeting Country Artist Darcy Mazerolle.

Many of you may never even heard of Darcy Mazerolle before. He is a 26 year old country artist from Miramichi, New Brunswick. He opened for Jason McCoy, Gil Grand, Chris Cummings and George Canyon. He made a album called, Cowboy Enough For Me, in the year of 2005 and has won two ECMA 2006 nominations. He was nominated for Rising Star of the Year and Country Album of the Year.
In the year of 2007, my Dad, my brother and I went to Nova Scotia for a trip. We stayed at a campground for two nights. We went to Upper Clemments Park for two days. The first day we went we seen Darcy Mazerolle. He was playing for a few hours that day. We had no idea who he was, but then we found out because we watched him and his band play. He told us that he was from Miramichi and we hooped, roared and cheered. Then he asked us if we were from Miramichi and we told him that we were from the Renous area. He then dedicated us his song, Back to the River, from his album, Cowboy Enough For Me.
The next day we went to the Wildlife Park, we got in for free. Then we went back to Upper Clemments to watch Darcy Mazerolle perform again. He told us the previous day that he was going to be performing again at three o'clock. We watched him perform again and I bought his CD and a poster and got them both autographed. My Dad, my brother and I all got some pictures done with him too. I was very inspired these two days.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Come to Moncton, N.B.

On September 1st, 2007, my Dad, my brother, my cousin and I went to the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert. The tickets were $150.00 and my cousin got in for free because he was a paramedic and was working for the St. John Ambulance. We were pretty close to the stage. There was the V.I.P. people right by the stage and we were five rows away from the fence. There were a lot of artists that came along with Tim and Faith. They were: Side Kixx, Steve Whalen from Fredericton, Shirley Albert, Jessie Farrell, The Divorcees, J.P. Cormier, Leahy, Johnny Reid, George Canyon and Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Right after George Canyon performed it rained and there was a really big rainbow. When Tim and Faith were on the stage you could barley turn sideways. Every one of these artists did an amazing job performing infront of Magnetic Hill in Moncton. This concert was probably the best one I was ever to so far. Below is a video of my brother and I dancing to George Canyon singing his song Drinkin' Thinkin' at the concert:

Kenny Chesney Discusses "Gay Rumour" In Playboy Interview.

Has enough been written about Kenny Chesney's music, wealth and life already? I think not. A rumour started about him being gay. After his marriage to actress Renee Zellweger was annulled, the rumour spread more and more. For the annullment to be valid, legal documents had to be submitted claiming his physical and mental abuse and other things that weren't true. Chesney said, "The best thing we could put in there was fraud." So he said, "Okay, do it, whatever." He said he was very angry to what was being said about him. "What guy who loves girls wouldn't be angry about that?" asks Chesney. He also states what he believes. He believes that people need to live their lives the way they want to. In other words, he believes that everyone should be happy no matter who they are with. To prove that Kenny Chesney is not gay he says, "I've got a line of girls who could testify that I'm not gay, I love girls, my first five years on the road was intense because I was the guy in college who never got laid until I started playing the guitar." The interview is in the March issue of Playboy that comes out Today, Friday, February 13, 2009.
